Mission Description

  • Overall planning of the activities of the QC Incoming team (primary and secondary components)
  • Communication with the different departments to ensure that the QC laboratory activities are in line with the supply chain and production activities
  • Evaluate and anticipate resource needs for planning follow-up
  • Supervise the training of QC technicians, develop the QC expertise
  • Management and supervision of the team in charge of the control of raw materials (components)
  • Collaborates and supports the quality investigations (deviations, OOS, OOT, etc.), CAPA and Change Control in the Quality system in connection with the laboratory activities
  • Manage GMP documentation such as SOP's, analytical files, certificates of analysis, specifications, to ensure the traceability of analyzes
  • Drive continuous improvement projects of the QC department
  • Ensure good relations with internal and external stakeholders and responsible for the communication with lab contractors
  • Participate in calls with customers, audits and inspections
  • Back-up of the QC Incoming and Chemical Manager

Candidate profile

  • university degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, or other relevant discipline
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following activities: production, engineering, QC/QA within a pharmaceutical company
  • Experience managing mid-sized teams (10 and more)
  • Proficiency in French and English is required
  • Knowledge of AQL is an asset
