HELSCI, THE ULB CENTER FOR CONTINUOUS EDUCATION

HeLSci provides lifelong training programs to help talented people contribute to industry competitiveness and innovation in life sciences. HeLSci’s multidisciplinary team organizes more than 50 short courses as well longer qualifying programs for job seekers, training more than 2000 people on a yearly basis.
Most attended short 3-days courses for biotech professionals include: Eucaryote cell culture management; Preventing contamination in cell cultures; Stem cell culture; Theoretical and practical introduction to qPCR; qPCR experimental design and optimization; Next generation sequencing; Elisa assay development and validation; Introduction to flux cytometry; Cell phenotyping by flux cytometry; CRISPR-cas9 technology introduction; Peptides and proteins identification by mass spectrometry
Longer 4-months qualifying programs for job seekers include: BIOPOLY, for general biotech practice; 4CELLS, for cell and gene therapy; CLINIX, for clinical research background acquisition
