The Brussels South Charleroi BioPark (BSCB) manages a unique ecosystem that includes (Scientific experts from the Science and Medical department of University of Brussels (ULB), Companies active in the Biotech sector, either in new product development or services (R&D, production, engineering…) anf Financial investors that are ready to support start-ups (Sambrinvest, Theodorus, Fund+…)

Mission Description

1. Improve the current Biopark selling proposition and materials
2. Create a Social Media Marketing Strategy alongside a communication agency including the establishment of KPI with the goal of using the most efficient social media networks in the most efficient way
3. Implement the Social Media Marketing strategy including
- Plan for 6 to 8 publications per month
- Include different formats that better fit the different social media networks and client needs, which can include videos, webinars…
- Content management & writing: online (management of the company’s website), offline (writing of brochures, press releases, etc.) 
- Cultivate press relations at local, regional, national and international levels

Candidate profile


- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or any other relevant field. 
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in a Marketing/Communication department or agency.
- Experience in Pharma/Biotech 
- Very good command of English and French. Any other language is an asset. 
- Creative skills: you know the current communication tools/platforms and have proven experience         working with them, especially Wordpress but also PR platforms, InDesign, internal communication tools, etc…
- SEO, SEA, Google Analytics, are familiar concepts to you. 
- You are up to date with the use of social media (Linked-In, Facebook, Instagram) and with the key trends
- Linguistic feeling & copywriting skills for the writing of brochures, support on writing press releases, website content, etc. 
- You have experience in developing new communication plans and campaigns

- Strong internal communication and organizational skills to make the communication rhythm and the cooperation with the different stakeholders possible. 
- Ability to adapt to different environments (university labs, companies, VCs)
- You like change & flexibility and can combine different projects. You personally see opportunities and challenges and propose solutions. 
- Team player that can take into account others ‘objectives and able to communicate your proposals to people that are not up to date with latest communication media trends
