Open position: Clinical Operations Manager (H/F/X)

InhaTarget Therapeutics is a spin-off company of the ULB (“Université libre de Bruxelles”) specialized in the development of innovative and targeted dry powders for inhalation (DPI) that aims to improve treatment of severe and/or chronic respiratory diseases, with a focus on Lung Cancer. Based on more than 10 years of dedicated applied research and a strong IP portfolio, InhaTarget Therapeutics is currently active in the preclinical and clinical development of innovative treatments of lung cancer by inhalation, based on dry powder formulations of conventional chemotherapy compounds. DPI chemotherapy is a breakthrough therapeutic approach to be used in combination with current standards of care (such as immunotherapy) and is very promising in improving lung cancer patient care.

Mission Description

The company will launch the Phase I/IIa trial of its lead compound (CIS-DPI, a cisplatin-based dry
powder for inhalation) in 2022. As Clinical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting
the management team in the clinical development of InhaTarget. More especially, you will manage all
the operational, strategic and administrative aspects of the clinical trial and give close oversight to the
external vendors and CROs.
You will work hands in hands with the CEO and CSO for the good conduct of the company trials.

Candidate profile

- Master degree or PhD in in biological sciences or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing clinical studies, ideally in oncology or
respiratory field.
- Mastery of ICH-GCP and SOPs used in clinical research is a strong asset.
- Experience in regulatory affairs, biostatistics, safety and/or medical monitoring (AE/SAEs) is a
- Excellent leadership skills, effective at mentoring and training, and who can bring teams
together and allow them to thrive
- Outstanding planning and organizational skills to enable effective prioritization of the team’s
- Excellent judgment, decision making, escalation, and risk management skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including English language proficiency
(French is a plus)
- Excellent computer skills to effectively use automated systems and computerized
applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
