Senior Project Manager (H/F/X)

Mission Description

In order to fulfill his/her role, the Senior Project Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Definition of the project scope, goals, deliverables, and schedule in collaboration with customers and under the supervision of the Project Management Director and Business Development team.
  • Creation of the project budget and expenses in close collaboration with Operations, Finance, and Business Development departments
  • Time, capacity, and budget management for multiple complex projects as per Project Management Procedure (schedule & resource updating, action log, minutes of meetings, invoicing, documentation follow-up, etc.).
  • Ability to drive delivery while continuing to maintain project team engagement and keeping patients first top of mind;
  • Ability to cultivate a collaborative work environment with a team;
  • Main point of contact for client(s), encompassing the creation and follow-up of a Communication matrix including all critical project stakeholders.
  • Project risk management to minimize Catalent & client exposure.
  • Ability to independently create presentations and conduct presentation within Catalent and to clients;
  • Participation to conferences to gain technological and scientific knowledge;
  • Up-to-date view on scientific literature and new technologies.
  • Able to effectively negotiate to settle differences and maintain positive relationships with external and internal clients;
  • Ability to identify new opportunities within client base and ability to work with business development and/or commercial operations to pursue opportunities.

Candidate profile

  • Higher degree in Science (Biology, Bio-engineering, Pharmacy, Clinical Chemistry, etc.), PhD. or MSc or relevant experience in a similar position in the sector of Biotech/Pharma/Cell Therapy.
  • Knowledge of the best practices for Project Management with 8+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in a biotech environment.
  • Experience in cGMP environment.
  • A project management accreditation is a plus (Prince2, PMP, etc).
  • Confirmed organizer, communicator, customer-oriented, and charismatic project team leader.
  • Additional specific expertise in a field of biopharmaceutical industry (regulatory, supply chain, production, etc) is a plus.


Full-time position (40h/week).
An indeterminate contract.
