Mission Description

You will develop and operate the company’s Corporate Information Center and provide information services to the different affiliates of Univercells. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Manage the company’s Corporate Information Center (CIC), including:
  • Identify and prioritize essential external knowledge resources to support the company’s mission and objectives
  • Secure access to paid subscription resources, such as scientific journals, pharmacopoeias and databases by finding optimal access solutions/platforms and negotiating fees
  • Prepare and manage the CIC’s budget
  • Create and manage an internal database of key publications and other information resources for internal clients
  • Conduct targeted information searches upon request from internal clients, including:
  • Assist with the definition of the research question and translate it into a search strategy
  • Search for and pre-select relevant publications
  • If requested, pre-process publications and prepare search summaries for internal clients
  • If requested, write scientific summaries or other deliverables based on the information searches, for use as independent reports or integration into project deliverables 
  • Continually survey the public domain for relevant updates in scientific fields of interest and provide information to the concerned experts (e.g as newsletters, periodic information sessions)
  • Prepare training materials for scientific subjects of interest upon request
  • Develop and own procedures, templates and tools for information management and creation of documents within the remit of the Product Development department

Candidate profile

  • Master’s Degree in life sciences, ideally bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or similar fields
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the biopharmaceutical or related industry is a plus
  • Prior experience in process development (cell culture, purification…) and/or analytical development is a plus
  • Excellent information and literature search skills
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritize, prepare and deliver quality information and documents within set timelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent scientific writing skills
  • Proficiency in English (both written and oral) is a must; knowledge of French is a plus
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and multicultural environment is a plus
  • Experience with governance and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Flexibility, ability to build relationships and customer-focus
  • Can-do attitude and a solution-oriented mindset
