Cell Culture Technician (M/F)

Mission Description

The Production Technician’s responsibilities need to be adapted according to the GMP production.The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Production and handling of cell therapy product(s) in clean rooms (grades A-D), performing a range of manipulations or techniques on the products in an autonomous fashion.
  • Working to defined plans as part of/in collaboration with a wider team.
  • Cleaning of production labs and equipment.
  • Filling out of GMP documentation.
  • Performing environmental testing in cleanrooms.
  • Adherence to health and safety rules in the workplace.
  • Working in Grade B cleanrooms following appropriate gowning and cleanliness procedures.

Candidate profile

Required qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in a scientific subject with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar function. Or have gained adequate qualification through work experience.
  • Ideally you have previous experience in the pharmaceutical field (cGMP) and you have experience working with industrial equipment.
  • Ideally you have already gained experience with similar techniques in the sector including cell culture, working in aseptic cleanrooms, working under Biosafety Cabinets, ...).
  • You are fluent in French, and understand English at a technical level.
  • Proficiency in using IT tools such as Office (Word, Excel) and specialist systems such as ERP are an asset.
