Proposal Lead (M/F)

Mission Description

Lead the creation of the quotations for new development and commercial opportunities i.e.

  • Evaluation of the new development and business opportunities provided by the Business Development Team
  • Assess feasibility of the opportunities with regard to the Site capabilities
  • Define resources and macro planning for the project execution with relevant stakeholders
  • Calculate the costs associated to the proposal, using the Finance developed tools
  • Develop quotation proposal with the help of the site main stakeholders (BD, project management, operations, QA, finance)
  • Support drafting and/or review of Change Orders in collaboration with the Project Management team for existing programs
  • Support the Business Development team and/or Project Managers when presenting proposals to customers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the commercial proposal quotation process and templates.

Support the Commercial Operation at the site in the development e.g.

  • Support on customer site visits and associated hospitality in coordination with the BD team.
  • Support in tracking commercial supply agreements to ensure capture of relevant provisions (e.g., fees, price increases, KPIs, forecasts, renewals).

Candidate profile

The Candidate

  • BA/BS degree in a Life Sciences discipline;
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment / CDMO / Biotech / Pharma industry (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of technical and/or commercial and/or business experience with a strong focus on the customer and a clear results driven commitment
  • High aptitude to learn technical and scientific information, Detail oriented.
  • Strong written communication skills (English mandatory, French is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills: able to pick issues quickly and make sense of/see patterns in diverse sources of information. 
  • Possesses the personal qualities required to create and build long-term and trustful relationships with site stakeholders, peers and clients
  • Understanding and application of financial principles to develop quotation  proposal
  • Project management skills
  • Good business acumen and willingness to develop further necessary skills to move to the next level of competency.
