To drive its Digitalization Roadmap, covering all departments, Catalent Cell and Gene Therapy is creating a new role for a highly motivated Operational Excellence Manager. He/She will lift our ways of working and process to reach the next level to support our growth.

Mission Description

  • Define and drive the OPEX roadmap roll out on the site, acting on the culture, processes, and tools, with the collaboration of the Head of Departement and their managers
  • Drive the roll-out of our Catalent Lean Leader, install a mindset of continuous improvement and daily management principles
  • Provide expertise in Lean Six Sigma, providing teaching, mentoring, and coaching to your colleagues (process flows, problem-solving,...)
  • Drive kaizen events, to improve our efficiency
  • Animate a community of OpEx relay
  • Build a learning organization, by deploying Knowledge management principles
  • Bring change management’s expertise to the project managers and leaders.
  • Contribute to the Catalent Opex Community

Candidate profile

The Candidate

  • 5Y in driving projects
  • 5Y experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated sector
  • You have experience with Lean Six Sigma projects, and ideally, you are Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt certified
  • You have a relevant bachelor's/master's degree, or equal through experience
  • Lean has no secrets for you: you can effortlessly use the Lean-philosophy, -tools and programs.
  • Able to represent the site in the Group CI community
  • Strong driving skills: able to engage at all levels, motivate and influence

  • You're used to guiding a team, and being a leader is something you like to do. This comes with great communication and a motivational mindset
  • You're process-driven, analytical, problem-solving, and have a commercial feeling

  • Full-time position (40h/week).
