TheraVet is a vet biotech company headquartered in Belgium (Wallonia) with a US-based subsidiary. TheraVet mission is to develop innovative, safe and effective products to improve the well-being of animals suffering from osteoarticular diseases. TheraVet is developing two product lines: (i) VISCO-VET is currently in clinical phase in canine osteoarthritis and (ii) BIOCERA-VET, developed for the treatment of bone indications, is currently under manufacturing and packaging validation and will be ready for commercialization by end 2020.

Mission Description

  • Define and establish TheraVet US and EU distribution strategy
  • Develop the US and EU vet distribution & partners network
  • Negotiate licensing and/or distribution contracts
  • Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts
  • Analyze the markets of osteoarticular and bone diseases in companion animals and horses
  • Develop prospection and marketing tools
  • Monitor local and federal regulations
  • Identify/Develop new potential markets for TheraVet products
  • Represent the company in event, conferences

Candidate profile

  • MA and/or MBA in Business Management or similar relevant field; science degree is a plus
  • 3-5 year experience as business manager, commercial manager …
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Great multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
  • Fluent in English and French
